Qazi Associates Printing House was founded in 2012, when the elder son of Mr. Qazi, Mr. Azam Jamil Qazi and current Chief Operation Officer (COO) of Qazi Associates felt the need of in-house facility. Starting a printing house was only the natural expansion of publishing business at that time. Initially printing house’s sole objective was to control and enhance the quality of printing books itself. The inhouse facility of printing books is a huge step forward in achieving that goal for this Publishing establishment. In the beginning days printing house started out by acquiring 1 five colors machine, 2 two colors machine, industrial paper cutting machine and plate making machine.
Publishing Service
The firm set its first founding stone in 1988 and started publishing educational books for private customers such GABA sons. With initial financial constraints, the firm aim was just to make it self sustaining and build up reputation over time. Qazi Associates procured many educational private jobs till 1991, that helped it to kick start its next phase. With vision and ambition from day one to enter the business of quality educational books, Qazi Associates got its government license to publish and distribute educational books for the Government of Sindh, Pakistan. The firm charges royalties for the books and are distributed accordingly throughout the province. From then on Qazi associates started working exclusively for government for next 4 to 5 years, in 1994
Folding Service
Qazi Enterprises is one of the three subsidiary companies of Qazi Associates, which was solely formed on the bases of folding and binding jobs of educational books, directed to maintain the beauty and formation. For an average person it is hard to comprehend why binding and folding is important to publishing books, but a technically aware professional or a seasoned veteran of this field will tell you otherwise. When a book is poorly folded or gum-binded, the entire formation of the book is objectionable and unprofessional. The geometrical foundation and shaping of the book are compromised and is undermined by amateur approach. Qazi Associates understood the need of attention required to make a great looking book and Qazi Enterprises was started to achieve that singular goal.
